Meet The Team

Bethanie Prosser, DPT

Beth is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than 10 years of experience in the field. She has treated various musculoskeletal conditions including trauma, repetitive use, and sports-related injuries.

Bethanie is an avid aerialist and has trained on silks, rope, lyra, hammock and straps. Her passions inform her practice; this enables her to curate treatment plans that are specific to the individual needs of circus artists.

Bethanie is one of the founders of Aerial Ground Crew. She believes that injury prevention is the key to longevity and maximizing ones potential in their sport. She is excited to share her knowledge with others. She hopes to help decrease injuries so that aerialists can spend more time in the air, and less time on the ground!

Emily Dyck

Emily is an AFPA certified holistic nutritionist based out of California. She has a strong passion for functional medicine, nutritional science, and overall individualized wellness. She is on a mission to help individuals take their health into their own hands by providing education and coaching to help them develop sustainable habits for a vital and balanced life. She supports evidence-based research that recommends a whole food, plant-rich diet for an optimal balance of health and well-being, and seeks to help others bridge the gap between their healthspan and lifespan.

With a background in dance and aerial arts, Emily developed a fond interest in nourishing athletes. She believes that food directly impacts our health, which in turn affects energy, recovery, and longevity of performance. She looks forward to empowering aerialists with the knowledge and education to properly fuel their bodies and enjoy many active years!
